We are now looking for a motivated Senior Software Engineer to use your creativity to work on the SW autonomous vehicle platform with a highly inventive and knowledgeable team. What you'll be doing: Technically lead the safety aspect of the automotive development process for the Nvidia Mellanox network adapter driver and design the unit-level solution consisted of the desirable data structures. Conduct thorough peer code reviews to detect potential failures and review the developer testing plan. Work with related industry standards & customers on deploying your tech. Work closely with software automotive and safety architects and collaborate with teams across disciplines (software, firmware, applications, chip design). Be part of an outstanding team leading the next generation of the autonomous driving system networking using NVIDIA Mellanox networking solutions and NVIDIA DRIVE platform, sensors (cameras, LIDAR, radar, GPS, IMU), controls, displays, microphones, antennae, etc.
What we need to nee: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer science/engineering field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of significant experience. A can-do attitude and high energy with leadership and excellent interpersonal skills and possess ability to learn complex concepts in a fast pace environment. Quick learner, ready to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. An analytical, problem-solving attitude, ability to research and explore new domains. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Proven automotive industry experiences with vehicle ECUs. Possess an understanding of ISO 26262 or other functional safety standard. Over 7 years of real time software development in Linux/QNX POSIX environment or in multi-threaded RTOS development. Significant hands on experience developing an automotive safety product throughout its entire life cycle. Deep understanding of the system software stack, with a focus on software/hardware interaction, including platform firmware, device drivers, Linux kernel / Micro kernel architecture.
