The Application Engineering team is looking for a hardworking, keen software networking engineer to join the team and support groundbreaking technology. As an Application Engineer one will have a real impact on the business, while working closely with our customers and R&D teams. What you’ll be doing: Support numerous levels of software on the strongest super-computers and data centers. Gain our customers’ trust and understand their needs. Work closely with our R&D teams and develop features for our customers. Address sophisticated issues while leading to highly visible customer issues. Provide constructive feedback to engineering and marketing regarding products’ requirements. Develop Proof-of-Concept for early adoption technologies.
What we need to see: 5+ years’ experience with software development B.Sc., Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field Networking experience and familiarity with the Ethernet protocol Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to details High level English communication and presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers Ways to stand out from the crowd: Coding development experience with a multitude of programming languages (from low-level C programming language to high-level languages such as python) System-level understanding Linux Environment and Linux Networking Familiarity with the InfiniBand protocol and RDMA concepts NVIDIA is leading the way in groundbreaking developments in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing and Visualization.
