QA & Automation Developer

BMC is looking for a passionate QA & Automation Developer to join our amazing team in Tel Hai (near Qiryat Shmona). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and debugging software products under the guidance of senior leaders – manual tests as well as automation & product development in C\C++ (~50%-50%). You will work in a z/OS and DB2 environment, while ensuring high quality throughout the whole software development lifecycle. You will also use professional concepts under company objectives to assist in solving problems. In this role, you will: Perform manual tests and automation tests of BMC’s robust products Develop automation code using C\C++ according to BMC’s quality standards Perform integration testing as required to provide a quality product. Work in collaboration with other teams to deliver quality products and customer satisfaction Work under guidance of senior staff members. Participate in team code (and other artifact) reviews. Accurately estimate the size and scope of assigned tasks. Gain knowledge of product environments and applicable software technologies. Provide complete documentation to support all deliverables the comments, problem status information, and design documents with guidance from senior staff. Complete code, automation, and testing on schedule. Provide input to the Technical Writers for relevant product documentation. Support cross-functional teams in customer specific escalations. Participate in customer interactions when required.
